Xinjiang Tunhe Investment Co., Ltd. (TUNHE or COFCO TUNHE) is a public listed company specialized in agricultural investment, agricultural resource development and deep processing of characteristic agriculture products. Tunhe’s main industries contain tomato processing, fruit concentration, and sugar manufacturing, with an annual capacity of 420，000 tons of tomato paste and the related products, 25,000 tons apricot puree and 180,000 tons refined beet sugar, which makes Tunhe the second biggest manufacturer of tomato products worldwide and the biggest of beet sugar in China. China National Cereals, Oils and Foodsduffs Corp. (COFCO) recombined Tunhe in June 2005, and now Tunhe has become a subsidiary of COFCO.
