Fuchun Liu, Chairman of the Board

Liu Fuchun has had an outstanding career in the food industry, spanning nearly four decades. He joined China National Cereals, Oils & Foodstuffs Imp. & Exp. Corp. [COFCO] in 1964.

Key positions he has held include: the Chief Representative of COFCO in U.S.A., the Deputy Consul at the Chinese Consulate in Vancouver, Canada, and the General Manager of Top Glory (London) Ltd., a subsidiary of COFCO.

He became the Vice President of COFCO in Jan. 1992 and then President of COFCO in June 2000.

Mark Han, Chief Executive Officer [CEO]

Mark Han graduated from the Enterprise Management Dept. of Taiwan Political University and obtained his MBA from University of Chicago in 1981.

During an extensive business career, he has worked in the Hong Kong Headquarters of the Merchant Banking Group of Citibank and DaChan Greatwall Group. He was previously responsible for their wheat flour and canned food production lines. He also successfully introduced Burger King into the Taiwan market. He then took charge of the feed business and built up the integrated chicken-production chain for DaChan Greatwall Group. He also set up the first overseas feed factory in Indonesia. He has managed DaChan Group's investment in China's agricultural and livestock industry, and built up the "DaChan Northeast Asia Company", which is presently one of the three biggest chicken meat companies in mainland China and the largest feed company in Northeast Asia. He has also overseen the merger of four Taiwanese flour companies into the largest flour mill in Taiwan.

In 1992, he became the General Manager of DaChan Greatwall Group, and also took up the position of Chairman of the WTO Accession Federation of the Taiwan Agricultural and Livestock Husbandry Industry. He was selected as one of the Top Ten Outstanding Young People in Taiwan in 1993, thanks to his invaluable contribution to the food industry.
